Return Policy

At Hawkesbury Motorcycles, we back what we sell and want you to feel confident every time you buy from us, whether you’re picking up parts in-store or ordering online.

We’ve kept our returns process straightforward and fair. If something’s not right, or you’ve changed your mind, we’ll work with you to find the best outcome and get it sorted properly.

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At Hawkesbury Motorcycles, we want you to be confident in every purchase. This policy works alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If you’re unsure about anything, call us on 02 4577 6500 and we’ll help you sort it out properly.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

If you’ve changed your mind, we can offer an exchange or store credit.

To be eligible:

  • Proof of purchase is required

  • Items must be returned within 21 days of purchase

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition

  • All original packaging, manuals, and accessories must be included

Please note:

  • Some spare parts, including electrical items, cannot be returned unless faulty or not as described

  • Special order items are not eligible for change of mind returns

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • We recommend using tracked postage, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit

  • Items returned without prior contact may not be accepted

Once received and approved, a store credit will be issued to the full value of the item.

If these conditions are not met, we may not be able to accept the return.

FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you’ve received a faulty item or the wrong product, we’ll sort it out.

  • Faulty items may require assessment by the manufacturer or supplier

  • Warranty claims are handled in line with manufacturer guidelines

  • If the item was installed by Hawkesbury Motorcycles, packaging requirements do not apply

  • Items returned without prior contact may not be accepted

If the issue is confirmed:

  • We will repair, replace, or refund as required under Australian Consumer Law

  • We will cover the cost of return shipping and re-delivery

A prepaid Australia Post return label will be provided where applicable.

If you purchased online, you can return your item by post or in-store.

  • Contact us first to organise the return

  • Pack the item securely with all original packaging

  • Send using a tracked postal service

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer for change of mind returns.

If the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, we will provide a prepaid return label.

In Store:

You can return your online order in-store with proof of purchase, and we’ll process it on the spot.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For orders outside Australia, all return shipping and re-delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer.
